Direct the Read

Direct the Read... You may direct the recording session via phone if you wish. The "phone patch" Allows you to listen in during the session and have direct contact with me during the narration. You may interrupt or comment at any time, I will make a mark on the script (usually read from a monitor) do a quick retake and continue recording... no backups or "punch -ins "  required. Your comments are routed through a non-record bus. So nothing you say is recorded... but the narrator can hear you at all times. This has proven to be a very efficient way for a client to offer input during the session. Because the script is normally read from a monitor... last minute changes can be e-mailed during the course of the session without a substantial delay in the recording process. The session is recorded to nonvolatile media, as well as hard drive to ensure no hiccups (Since they seem to always occur during the most critical read’s one "good take". Recording sessions and editing laminars are usually archived for five years-facilitating nominal content changes with consistent audio.
